With nearly 1400 songs and more than 150 hits to his credit, Frank Sinatra serenaded multiple generations of Americans from the 1940s to the 1990s.

Beginning in the Swing Era with big band leaders Harry James and Tommy Dorsey, Sinatra became an idol to young “bobby-soxers.” His early hits were numerous, among them great tunes such as “All or Nothing at All,” “Night and Day,” and “People Will Say We’re in Love.” In the 50s and 60s, the so-called “Rat Pack” was associated with Frank, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Peter Lawford. These songsters ruled the entertainment world of Las Vegas for many years. Sinatra’s newer hits included “All the Way,” “Hey Jealous Lover,” “Young at Heart,” and “Strangers in the Night.” In the 1980s and 90s Sinatra made “New York, New York” as famous as the mantra “the Big Apple.” As Sinatra aged, the time came for more of a focus on reissues, alongside some re-recordings of his old favorites. In addition, covers by Tony Bennett and Bono helped make it possible for a whole new generation to appreciate the unique phrasing, mellow sound, and style of songs that older generations identified with “Ole’ Blue Eyes.”

My Way: a Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra celebrates the power of Frank Sinatra and the music he made famous. Sinatra once said that his secret to success was “singing good songs.” Come take a stroll down memory lane and hear many of these songs performed by VocalEase and the Ray Young Trio. Singers Scott Anderson, Valerie Dascoli, Melissa Westover, and Christopher Wood make up VocalEase, and Ray Young, Ward Durrett and Michael Chagolla form the Ray Young Trio.
